So, a couple of weeks ago, we went to church and found out our ward was being split. That is the second time in the 20 months we've lived here. Crazy I know! The crazier thing is, our new ward still has like 200 primary kids! AHHH! I'm sure we'll have another split within the year. But, anyway... Sunday afternoon I get a call for a interview with the new bishop with me and Grady. So, of course I'm laughing at Grady cause I'm just assuming it has to do with him. But, then he tells me that EQP are called by the stake not the bishop. So, then I started to worry. Sure enough, I got called to be the Young Women's President. WOW! I'm very excited, but my mind is still going crazy at the same time! I'm good at organization and delegation, so hopefully that helps. But, I really am kind of scared! So, those friends I do have currently, I'm sorry you won't be seeing me much for the next year or so. :) I'm just grateful for my Heavenly Father and the power of prayer. He's helped me feel so much better the last week. So, ready or not, here we go!

You will be so awesome! I would be so excited to be one of your Young Women!! You will love it. It's amazing how you all of a sudden feel so responsible for them like they're your own daughters. So fun!
WAHOOO!!! Kristy that is so awesome congrats!!! I am so jealous, I loved YW and our girls are so fun. You will be a great example to them and will learn so much from them. I know you will do an amazing job. We miss you guys and will see you on the 27th :)
The Lord knows what he is doing! You are perfect for this calling! I have yet to be in YW's but I am willing to help in any way. Maybe we can have a good brainstorming session at the pool if you ever need it :) These are some lucky girls! Love ya!

Congratulations. I'm in there with you and the YW. It is my second fulltime job, but I love it. I've been YW pres. for 4 years now in the Spanish branch. We're going to camp on the 22nd. You're life will take on a whole new dimension. You will be blessed. ♥A. Lori
Kristy, you’ll be great at your new calling. I am the first counselor in YW and Dave was called yesterday to be the YM president. Maybe we all need to get together and compare notes on how to simultaneously wrangle and inspire teenagers.

You will do such a great job and the young women will love you cuase you are so much fun. That would be a little intimidating, but you will do great.
